Data Analyst IV

• Performs data collection, analysis, validation and reporting.
• Designs, tests, and documents processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
• Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization.
• Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required., * Conduct complex data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions
• Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements
• Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
• Create and produce technical reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
• Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities
• Develop reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders
• Identify and define data quality improvements
• Create and maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources
• Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis
• Create specifications for reports based on business requests
• Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance and utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Perform other duties as requested

• Requires experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills also essential.

• Experience with software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Experience withPython: numpy, pandas, pyplot, seaborn (xlsxwriter, pyodbc, pymongo, and pptx)
• Experience with databases:SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools: Tableau or anything Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with Gitlab; JIRA; Confluence
• Experience with Alteryx software
• Familiarity with JavaScript API, Rest API or Data Extract APIs
• Experience with cloud-based data technologies preferred
• Experience with creating dashboards, reporting
• Experience with descriptive and multivariate modeling
• Experience with data and statistical analysis
• Possesses understanding of Machine Learning
• Experience receiving, converting and cleansing big data with complex queries and diverse formats (dbs; csv; json; PDF)
• Self-starter and ability to work without direct supervision

Education:Bachelors degree in business or related field
