Job description
The Dynamics CRM Data Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the data architecture, migration strategy, and integration patterns for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
The opportunity:

Data Architecture & Design
-
Design end to end data architecture for Dynamics 365 CE, including entities, relationships, and data models
-
Define master data, transactional data, and reference data structures across CRM modules
-
Establish data standards, naming conventions, and governance models
-
Review and validate CRM schema designs created by development teams
-
Data Migration & Data Quality
-
Define and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems (e.g., SFDC, Siebel, custom CRMs) into D365 CE
-
Lead data migration using Data Migration Jobs, SSIS / KingswaySoft, staging databases
-
Perform data mapping, transformation rules, cleansing, and validation
-
Ensure reconciliation, auditability, and post migration data accuracy

Integration & Data Movement
-
Design and govern CRM integrations with upstream/downstream systems
-
Define patterns using REST APIs, OData, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus
-
Ensure data consistency across CRM, ERP, analytics, and external platforms

Performance, Security & Governance
-
Optimize CRM data performance (indexes, bulk operations, async processing)
-
Define data security models, field level security, and access strategies
-
Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, audit, and regulatory requirements

Collaboration & Leadership
-
Work closely with CRM Architects, Technical Leads, Functional Consultants, and Business SMEs
-
Guide developers on data modeling best practices and migration approach
-
Participate in architecture review boards and design walkthroughs
-
Support release planning, cutover, and hyper care phases

Requirements

12+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement data architecture roles

Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM (Sales, Service, Marketing)

Data modeling and CRM entity design
-
SQL Server, complex queries, and data analysis
-
SSIS / KingswaySoft for CRM data migration
-
CRM SDK / Web APIs / OData
-
Azure integration services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
-
Experience with large scale data migration and transformation programs
-
Good to Have:

Experience migrating from SFDC or legacy CRM platforms

Power Platform data integration exposure

Azure Data Factory / Data Lake exposure

They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.
