Job description

Our client is seeking a Jr. UX Writer to support its UX Content Design team in creating clear, user-focused content across digital products and marketing touchpoints. This role will help craft intuitive product language including UI copy, microcopy, and in-product guidance to improve the overall user experience for customers interacting with their digital platforms.

The ideal candidate has experience writing content for digital products and understands how to translate complex or regulated information into simple, easy-to-understand language. This person will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, marketing teams, and compliance stakeholders to ensure product messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand and regulatory standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Write and refine UI copy, microcopy, workflows, and in-product guidance for digital products
  • Develop and edit digital content for landing pages, banners, and marketing touchpoints
  • Partner with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to support product development and digital experiences
  • Translate complex financial or regulatory concepts into clear and user-friendly language
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, UX best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to content standards, style guides, and UX writing best practices
  • Participate in design and product discussions to integrate content early in the UX process
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or technical writing
  • Experience writing UI copy, microcopy, or product content for digital products
  • Experience working with cross-functional product teams (design, product, engineering)
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated industry (fintech, insurance, healthcare, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product voice and messaging
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced or evolving environments with multiple priorities

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with design systems or content design frameworks
  • Experience collaborating with legal or compliance teams in regulated environments
  • Background in financial technology or investment platforms
  • Experience contributing to content style guides or documentation standards
