Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Systems-focused DevSecOps Engineer to join our collaborative and growing team. The program you will support is rewarding, dynamic, and fast-paced, so we are looking for someone adaptable who thrives in this type of environment. You will operate remotely, working alongside other system engineers, as well as the automation testing and developer teams. We expect expert-level experience in implementing security best practices within DevOps workflows, AWS expertise, containerization, and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

  • 9+ years in IT or related field, 7+ being dedicated to implementing security best practices within DevOps workflows or related experience
  • 5+ years experience in implementing the Amazon services in various project / domains
  • AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Container technologies
  • Deployment & Management (Jenkins, Cloud formation)
  • Compute & Networking
  • Amazon ECS, CloudWatch, Gateway (NAT)
  • Working experience with Cloud Computing Models -- IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
  • Master in Understanding Public and Private Clouds -- On-premise Private Cloud, Externally-Hosted Private Cloud
  • Specialist with AWS deployment experience using scripts (specifically using AWS CLI)
  • Implementation knowledge of engineering practices across the phases of SDLC
  • Hands-on experience in Linux administration to troubleshoot issues, optimize the solutions and create RCA
  • Administration of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SonarQube, GitHub, Jenkins
  • Computer Science degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related major · Working closely with software development teams in an Agile SAFe environment
  • Understanding and adherence to basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management
  • Collaborating in a multiple contractor environment
  • Proficient in MS Word, and MS Excel

Benefits & conditions

$55hr to $83hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
