Job description
o The Project / Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting the Discovery Research organization by driving talent strategy and fostering culture & engagement initiatives. This position will collaborate with the Director of Strategy and Culture, Business HR, leadership teams, and project teams to implement programs that drive high-performing team excellence and support our workplace culture. Responsibilities: o Collaborate with leaders to execute talent strategy plans, including talent support/sponsorship, onboarding, and career development programs. o Implement strategy and plans for culture and engagement, in alignment with Discovery Research and R&D strategies, governance structure, project management structure and progress reporting. o Develop and manage processes for measuring and improving employee engagement, wellbeing, and organizational culture within Discovery Research. o Lead project coordination for culture and engagement initiatives (e.g., employee surveys, feedback sessions, recognition programs, onboarding, leadership forums). o Support and/or build SharePoint and Unily sites for complete transparency and communication across organization. o Track, analyze, and report metrics related to engagement, retention, and talent development. o Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in talent and culture-related processes. o Support change management efforts as new programs or initiatives are rolled out., o ProjectManagement o OperationsManagement o TalentStrategy o StakeholderManagement o Communication o Coordination o Reporting o Metrics o Analytics o ChangeManagement o Collaboration o ProcessImprovement o Engagement o Organization o SharePoint o Unily o HumanResources o TalentDevelopment o Onboarding o Retention o CulturePrograms o SurveyAnalysis o LeadershipSupport o LifeSciences o ResearchEnvironment
Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Life Sciences, or related field. o 5+ years of project or operations management experience, ideally within a research or technical environment. o Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. o Experience managing talent, engagement, or culture initiatives. o Analytical mindset; comfortable with data and metrics. o Ability to work collaboratively and drive projects to completion. o This role is critical for promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture within Discovery Research, ensuring alignment between talent strategy and organizational goals.
