Solutions Engineer - Japanese Bilingual

IT Consulting company is seeking a client-facing Solutions Engineer with a hands-on development background to support solution design, pre-sales activities, and project delivery. This role is focused on solution design and client engagement, supported by real-world implementation experience. This position is exclusively for current or former developers. Candidates without hands-on development experience will not be considered., 1. Client Engagement

• Understand client business requirements and challenges
• Propose practical solutions
• Prepare proposals, demos, and effort estimations

2. Solution Design

• Lead requirement gathering and business analysis
• Design scalable and implementable system architectures
• Translate business needs into technical solutions

3. Delivery Support

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful delivery
• Review technical designs and validate feasibility
• Support UAT and go-live processes

4. Technical Involvement

• Validate solutions based on hands-on development experience
• Support prototyping, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making

• Language Requirement: English & Japanese (Business level), * Mandatory: 1-3+ years of hands-on scratch development experience
• Experience across system development lifecycle (design development testing deployment)
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
