Job description
We are seeking an MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist to support enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives. This role is responsible for remediating post-match/merge fallout records and executing data cleansing activities across key data domains. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of master data in alignment with data governance standards and operational procedures., MDM Fallout Management
- Review and research fallout records generated from MDM match/merge processes
- Remediate data exceptions accurately and in a timely manner based on defined business rules and governance standards
- Validate survivorship outcomes and ensure entity resolution aligns with data stewardship expectations
- Perform root cause analysis to identify trends and recurring data issues
Data Cleansing & Quality Support
- Execute data cleansing activities including standardization, deduplication, formatting corrections, and attribute validation
- Verify data accuracy and completeness using approved tools, templates, and quality checks
- Perform bulk data updates and corrections following established protocols and change control processes
- Monitor data quality dashboards, reports, and exception queues
Data Stewardship Collaboration
- Partner with Data Governance teams, Data Stewards, and business stakeholders to resolve data issues
- Document remediation decisions and maintain audit trails in compliance with governance standards
- Escalate complex or policy-related data issues as needed
Requirements
Do you have experience in Research?, * 2+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or a related data operations role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, filtering, data cleansing techniques)
- Experience working with MDM tools (e.g., Informatica or similar platforms)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and apply business rules, matching logic, and survivorship frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience with match/merge or entity resolution workflows
- Basic knowledge of SQL or other data query/manipulation tools
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality standards
- Experience working with party (customer or partner) master data
