Job description

Customer Billing Services is responsible for proactive research, customer and supplier inquiries, and dispute resolution all with a concentration on customer billing accuracy, acting as a liaison with internal and external key stakeholders. Services multiple customer accounts and/or processes in a fast paced and highly analytical environment., * Work in conjunction with account management team and/or customer regarding invoicing & billing related issues

  • SalesForce case work, including, but not limited to credit/rebills and invoicing issues
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas in root cause analysis and problem resolution
  • Engage customers in billing process change recommendations and managing customer expectations
  • Train and assist account management team in billing practices to mitigate customer inquiry case work
  • Applies knowledge of standard OptiFreight processes to resolve unmatched transactions
  • Process customer PO Files, customer File Shares, and customer reporting as required
  • Review customer transactions prior to invoicing to ensure accuracy
  • Attend internal and external meetings associated with problem solving billing issues for specific customers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SEQL Server, and other OptiFreight systems

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience working in Excel
  • Knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
  • Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
  • Ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

Anticipated hourly range: $22.30 per hour - $28.80 per hour
