Requirements
- The person with excellent soft skills and presentation skills will get preference over someone purely technical. This person MUST be strong in the presentations/diagrams/communication.
- This person must have excellent client facing/soft skills will be speaking to clients, creating diagrams/presentations/etc (using visio/powerpoint)
- This position is extremely similar to a pre-sales engineer, but from a design/architect level
- This person will be creating/designing the blueprint, then passing to the actual network engineers to build this.
- DMZ Components: Firewalls, load balancers, cisco routers, Cisco SDWAN
- Must understand all External DMZ connectivity.
- Must understand application network flow with DMZ
- Must understand WAN Connectivity VPN, MPLS, Managed Network Providers (Radianz, TNS, etc.), Colo Cross-connects outstanding
- Should understand application flow through a private Extranet connection, with respect to Firewalls, Load-balancers, and routers.
- Should have 10+ years experience This is an architect level role Blueprinting and Diagrams
- Financial Services experience is preferred
- Splunk is a huge plus for this group
