Job description
ANSER is seeking a Security Manager for Special Access Programs (SAP) to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Research & Engineering). In this role you will serve as a security specialist in support of the Special Access Program Control Officer for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Research and Engineering.\n \n \nThis position requires full-time onsite support at the Suffolk Building in Falls Church, VA.\n \n \nDay to Day Responsibilities:\n \n \n
- Develop detailed plans, tasks, milestones, and schedules to ensure proper governance and oversight of activities, processes, and costs for assigned efforts within the SAP portfolio.\n
- Support issues including SAP and restricted Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) governance and oversight, resources, requirements capabilities and program coordination.\n
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Department to support development of SAP guidance, policy, and directives; provide resulting deliverables via in-person, written, and virtual presentations to DoD senior leaders.\n
- Assist in the functions of personnel security (PERSEC), physical security (PHYSEC), communication security (COMSEC), continuity of operations (COOP), information security/operations security (INFOSEC/OPSEC), industrial security (INDSEC), and general security administration (customer support).\n
Requirements
- Possess an active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).\n
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or a combination of lower-level education, formal training and experience)\n
- 3+ years of experience in a contractor program security officer (CPSO)-level position with at least 3 cumulative years in acquisition SAPs. The last SAP-related position must be within the last nine months\n
- Direct knowledge, experience, and expertise working with SAP capability requirements, their factors/considerations, and related statute(s), policy, directives, instructions, and guidance.\n
- Experience maintaining compliance with appropriate security measures.\n
- Strong communication, briefing and technical writing skills required.\n
