Job description

  • Collaborate with software development teams to design, develop, and optimize data models and database schemas.
  • Analyze requirements to determine optimal database architecture, data relationships, and reporting capabilities.
  • Build and enhance data warehouses, improving business intelligence functionalities and real-time reporting.
  • Create ad-hoc reports utilizing various data sources to support business decision-making.
  • Support, maintain, and document database systems, including writing unit tests and troubleshooting faults.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL language and SQL development.
  • Extensive experience with high availability technologies such as replication and mirroring.
  • Understanding of Always On availability groups in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with database installation, upgrade, configuration, and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and experience with source control solutions.
