Job description
- Build multi-body dynamics models using MSC ADAMS or similar tools
- Run simulations, analyze convergence, and interpret results
- Generate technical reports and support customer presentations
- Perform hand calculations to validate kinematic and dynamic results
- Develop automation scripts using Python, VBA, or C
- Manage simulation files and documentation per company standards
- Support multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with CAE teams supporting NVH and durability analysis
- Support development of new modeling techniques and processes
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Coursework in kinematics, dynamics, vibration, and numerical methods
- 1-3 years of MBD modeling experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and mechanisms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, * M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
- Experience with ADAMS, MATLAB, SIMPACK
- Experience with full vehicle MBD models
- ITAR-compliant work authorization
- Correlation with real-world test data
