Requirements
- Will need to go on-site once or twice a week if any hardware issues arise
- Primary focus: Strong Palo Alto Firewall (90+ in environment) exp. Familiarity with Panorama & Prisma is required as well. Majority of network consist of Cisco routers and switches, F5 load balancers, etc...
- Moved 50% of load to Azure cloud from on-premise.. 50% of load in cloud and other 50% on-Prem... The Azure exp is just preferred but he really wants it so needs some cloud exposure.
- Will need to man the two data centers in MD: OM and Columbia.
- Needs to be able to support day to day operations. Work the queue. Plus an on-call rotation.
- Ten person team right now. Rotation will be every other month from Sunday - Sunday.. The work is mostly during business hours (8-5)
- Because change mgmt tickets come in, any changes need to be done after 5pm to minimize impact to production workloads. Make sure folks are OK with this.
- Looking for 10-12 years of overall Network exp.
- Key skill is ability to Implement rules and policies with heavy security focus.
