The Principal Platforms Lead Director role will lead the Otsuka Commercial IT Sales Technologies platforms & teams by providing superior operational and project delivery across all technology initiatives. The position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the execution of the various technology platforms including Commercial CRM, Field Sales Reporting, Sales Operations, Data Enablement Reporting & associated roadmaps as well as the prioritization and oversight across the associated projects and budget planning. This role will also be accountable for providing oversight of the operations support team for this domain., The Director, Business Platforms and Tools will provide oversight and leadership across all technology systems as well as lead the center of excellence across Otsuka's critical platforms that support business operational outcomes and strategic goals.
The Director role will lead the Otsuka operations platform team by providing superior operational and program delivery across all technology initiatives. The position will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the execution of the roadmap but also the prioritization and oversight across the associated projects and capital planning process and manage the operations support team.
The Director will work closely with various business partners across IT to ensure a holistic approach is aligned across the organization including prioritizing key business processes, establishing deployment strategies, and working with IT partners to ensure successful execution, We have an unwavering belief in doing more. Accountable for the creation and ownership of appropriate business-aligned implementation plans, timelines, milestones, etc.

Oversee and lead Center of Excellence teams as well as Managed Service Providers across platforms: Defines priorities for the team aligned with business priorities. Coordinates with the IT Business partners to develop an IT strategy and roadmap that addresses operational contingencies. Identifies technology opportunities to address process 'pain points', enable leading practices and technology-enabled improvement opportunities. Builds business case for implementation IT initiatives. Manages the service provider resources to ensure SLA's are being met.

Vendor Management: Oversee vendor selection, financial and performance management for assigned area, as well as direct relationship management with supplier's executive team to influence the direction of the supplier's growth to align with Otsuka needs. Builds and manages working relationship with service providers and software vendors. Coordinates with MSPs to assure proper coverage exists for all applications and all off-shore/on-shore resources

Financial Management and Oversight: Review/create annual budgets, periodic forecasts and re-plans for assigned area, including investments and expenses for assigned projects, platforms, and services. Work closely with share services functions and Finance to maintain alignment on costs and timing.

IT Leadership: Actively participates and influences internal IT strategies surrounding operating models, technology platforms, career growth, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Volunteer to lead internal initiatives that shape the future of IT at Otsuka. Continuously seek ways to optimize the IT operations and manage service providers without jeopardizing the service levels or impacting critical business events.

To be successful in this Principal Platforms Lead role, a strong background and past technical engineering experience in working with the Commercial Pharma Sales Technology platforms and solutions is required. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum $186,489.00 - Maximum $278,875.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate's job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
