Linux Systems Administrator 100% Remote

We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems and infrastructure. The role involves ensuring system reliability, performance, security, and availability while supporting day-to-day operations and troubleshooting issues., * Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance
• Troubleshoot system, hardware, and network-related issues
• Manage storage, file systems, and backups
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Support virtualization and container platforms (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ensure system security, compliance, and hardening standards
• Collaborate with DevOps, network, and application teams

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3-7+ years of experience in Linux system administration
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools
• Experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.)
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with virtualization and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of security best practices and system hardening
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, * Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Linux certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, etc.)
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
