Job description

Are you a skilled professional with a passion for excelling in applications engineer? The Pivot Group is dedicated to building meaningful connections in the manufacturing community. We are collaborating with companies in Whitehall seeking experienced Applications Engineers., * Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware solutions.

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their manufacturing processes and integrate company products effectively.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical training, and workshops for clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and validate application-specific solutions to optimize customer manufacturing workflows and efficiency.
  • Analyze customer requirements and provide feedback to product development for feature enhancements and new product ideas.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, application notes, and best practice guides for product usage.
  • Perform on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of manufacturing systems and applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, additive manufacturing, automation).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer requirements, diagnose technical problems, and propose effective engineering solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with project management, including scope definition, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Multilingual proficiency relevant to key international markets.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation or digital twin technologies.
  • Prior experience in a technical pre-sales or sales support role.
