We are collaborating with leading companies in Cadillac seeking IT Systems Administrators to lead and enhance their operations., * Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations, ensuring high availability for manufacturing operations.
- Administer and support specialized manufacturing systems such such as MES, SCADA, and industrial control network components.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect industrial control systems (ICS) and sensitive production data.
- Develop, test, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans for all critical IT systems to minimize production downtime.
- Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues impacting manufacturing productivity.
- Perform routine system performance monitoring, patching, and upgrades to ensure optimal and secure operation of IT assets.
- Collaborate with production teams and vendors to integrate new technologies and optimize existing systems for manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements
- Extensive experience administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in managing virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V) and SAN/NAS storage.
- Strong foundational knowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Understanding of IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity principles applicable to manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) for system management., * Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLC systems).
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and the impact of IT systems on production lines.
- Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) in a manufacturing context.
