Healthcare Data Solutions Consultant

• This position is responsible for providing analytical support to the development and operations of reporting and data solutions for health care delivery teams within OptumHealth., * MUST HAVE VERY STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS to be able to work directly with end users and key stakeholders to resolve issues and identify opportunities to drive business goals through reporting and data deliverables High - level of experience in identifying, interpreting, and documenting requirements for reporting and data solutions
• Performs complex data analysis to validate data quality, produce ad-hoc data deliverables, and identify root causes and solutions when data issues are identified Design and code efficient and effective solutions for challenging problems ranging from small to large complex work efforts
• Performs front-end user testing to ensure reporting functionality is working as expected and in alignment with stakeholder expectations Identify and implement improvements to existing business processes and technology solutions, such as automation of manual data processing
• Build solid relationships within the organization including financial, actuarial, and network contracting

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Business Information Systems, Finance, etc.) or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience using SQL, SAS, or similar 3+ years of experience with Data Visualization using Tableau or similar platform
• Advanced proficiency in Excel including advanced formulas and pivots
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
• Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in health care analytics or reporting
• Sound knowledge of the Medicare market and products
• Experience with UnitedHealth Group businesses and systems Experience with risk delegation
