Job description

  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
  • Hands- on with Tableau (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
  • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
  • Fine-tune SQL Queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Review and improve existing systems and collaborate with teams to integrate new systems.
  • Conduct unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Create visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau.
  • Manage Tableau Server and Administration.
  • Find the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise BI development and data analysis.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Tableau.
  • Extensive experience in developing and working Tableau driven dashboards and analytics.
  • Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook.
  • Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
  • Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • T-SQL knowledge is required.

Education: Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university with at least fifteen (15) credit hours in the field of computer sciences.
