Job description
As a HRIS Manager - Payroll & Time & Attendance, you'll be part of our HR COEs Technology & Shared Services team working as an on-site employee. You'll get to:
- Responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and operational excellence of payroll and time & attendance systems across the organization.
- Key partner to HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, this role ensures that payroll and T&A practices support organizational objectives, compliance requirements, and a positive employee experience.
- Drives policy development, process harmonization, change management, and system optimization, while serving as the subject matter expert for payroll and T&A operations and technologies.
- Lead the development, refinement, and governance of payroll and time & attendance policies, operating principles, and procedures in partnership with HR, Finance, and IT.
- Advise leadership and cross-functional teams on strategic decisions impacting payroll, time & attendance, compensation, and benefits.
- Oversee strategic planning, roadmap development, and harmonization of payroll and T&A systems and processes globally.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective payroll and T&A solutions.
- Manage change initiatives, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and business units to optimize operations, resolve complex issues, and ensure system integrations.
- Oversee system implementation, upgrades, and integrations with related platforms (e.g., UKG, ADP, Workday).
- Monitor system performance, compliance, and data integrity; recommend and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in payroll and time & attendance management.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for payroll and T&A systems.
- Provide expert guidance and support for audits, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Represent HR interests in payroll and T&A related projects, steering committees, and cross-functional working groups.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll, time & attendance systems administration, HRIS, or project management.
- Proven track record in leading strategic payroll and T&A initiatives and change management programs.
- Experience developing policies, governance frameworks, or operating principles.
- Experience with major payroll and T&A systems (e.g., UKG, ADP, Workday) preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR, payroll fundamentals, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPP is a plus.
