Job description
We are seeking a Global Trade (GT) professional with SAP experience to support the implementation of compliant trade processes within the SAP GTS module at our Bohemia, New York site. This role will be dedicated to an approximately 18-month SAP implementation project.
Upon completion of the project, this position will transition into the site Global Trade Lead role. In that capacity, you will oversee the site's Global Trade program, ensure compliance with export/import regulations and sanctions requirements, lead training and process adherence, manage authorizations, mitigate risk, and partner with site leadership to maintain a strong compliance posture.
What You Will Do:
SAP Implementation (18-Month Project Assignment)
- Lead Global Trade (GT) scope for the SAP GTS deployment, including governance, planning, resource alignment, and execution in support of the overall project timeline.
- Oversee GT data migration, integration, testing, go-live readiness, training, and development of site work instructions and processes.
- Track and report GT deployment metrics and serve as the primary liaison to the enterprise GT project lead.
Global Trade Site Lead (Post-Implementation)
- Lead site-level Global Trade compliance in accordance with U.S. export/import regulations (including EAR and ITAR) and company policy.
- Oversee authorizations, classifications, sanctions compliance, ERP/GTS workflow reviews, and regulatory interpretation.
- Drive compliant process deployment, training, audits, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to maintain a strong compliance posture.
- Support additional GT initiatives as assigned.
- Estimated travel: 10%., *Please ensure the role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years of experience
- Prior experience in SAP and GTS
- Experience with U.S. export regulations (ITAR/EAR)

- Experience in leadership, program/project management, and change management
- Demonstrated experience organizing, tracking, and reporting on complex activities or projects.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams, including coordination with domestic and international sites.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively manage ambiguity.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional team expectations and requirements.

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
