Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Customer Solutions Specialist to join our customer support team. This role is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to quote requests, providing order statuses, and entering purchase orders. The position requires the ability to navigate ERP/CRM systems and to collaborate with other departments professionally. The position will interact with customers via email but will not include any phone coverage. This is a day shift position paying $20-$22/hr. Monday-Friday.

General Responsibilities

  • Quote Responses: Engage with customers via email to provide pricing, availability, and lead times. Proactively assist customers by identifying products that meet their needs and address any concerns.
  • Order Statuses: Engage with customers via email to provide order status, including tracking information or estimated ship dates. Work with operations to expedite or troubleshoot orders as needed.
  • Order Entry: Enter and validate customer purchase orders. Communicate discrepancies in price, order multiples, or other account requirements. Work collaboratively with customers to resolve issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough records of customer interactions in the CRM, including inquiries, resolutions, and follow-ups.
  • Team Collaboration: Develop familiarity with other areas of customer solutions. Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the overall objectives of the team.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Cross-functional collaboration?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Customer Service: Proven experience in customer service roles, demonstrating the ability to engage with customers via email effectively.

  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Office 365, especially Excel. Strong ability to manage data and use spreadsheets effectively.
  • Typing Skills: Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with accuracy, ensuring efficient documentation and communication.
  • ERP and CRM Experience: Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems is preferred; experience with Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot is a plus.
  • Time Management: Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to change and handle various situations and personalities with ease.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years of customer service experience or a related field

Physical Demands

  • This position is working mainly in an office environment and may require long periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds is required., * Customer Service: 2 years (Required)
