Job description

What you will be doing

As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and verifying production processes to ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.

Main responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Conduct microbiological and chemical testing to ensure food safety and quality compliance.
  • Monitor production processes to verify adherence to HACCP, GMP, FDA, and USDA standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality checks and test results.
  • Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout the facility.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Train production staff on quality control procedures and food safety protocols.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Training?, * Prior experience in quality assurance, food safety, or a related field in a food manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA, USDA, and other food safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect quality defects.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience with laboratory testing methods and equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and documentation.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
