- Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to engineering and production teams.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to understand product specifications and testing requirements.
- Design and build test fixtures, jigs, and equipment to facilitate efficient product testing.
- Perform root cause analysis of product failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Validate that products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, C++).
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and data acquisition systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and product specifications.
