Job description
- Build accessible, reusable UI components in React 19 with TypeScript 5, following industry best practices
- Translate dynamic mockups into production-ready components and pages, ensuring WCAG AA compliance, keyboard accessibility, and semantic HTML
- Implement application flows using React Router 7 and state management with Redux Toolkit and React Redux
- Maintain and evolve our SCSS-based design system; document and showcase components in Storybook 8
- Optimize rendering, bundle size, and runtime performance using memoization, hooks, and Nx workspace tooling
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest 29 and Testing Library; contribute to E2E coverage with Playwright
- Collaborate with shared libraries, strict typing, and CI pipelines; follow code review and git workflows
- Contribute to internationalization and runtime translation patterns and ensure robust error handling and analytics instrumentation where needed
- Participate in Agile ceremonies; partner with design and product to plan features, refine requirements, and evaluate technical trade-offs
- Write high-quality, accessible UI shipped with strong test coverage and documented in Storybook
- Create reusable components and hooks that reduce duplication and accelerate feature delivery
- Wrote maintainable code that fits industry standards: typed, readable, and well-tested
- Contribute measurable improvements in performance, reliability, and developer experience across our codebase

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Proven front-end experience building scalable React applications and component libraries
- Solid proficiency in TypeScript 5 (typing props, generics, utility types, type guards) and modern React patterns (hooks, memoization, context when appropriate)
- Hands-on experience with Redux Toolkit and React Redux; comfortable designing slices/selectors and handling async flows
- Proficiency with React Router (v7) for routing, guarded flows, and navigation patterns
- Solid understanding of web accessibility (WCAG AA), semantic HTML, and keyboard navigation
- Comfort with build tools, CI/CD, and version control (Git), plus Agile collaboration
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with analytics instrumentation, internationalization, and performance profiling
- Experience maintaining a living design system and documenting components in Storybook 8
- Solid testing discipline: Jest 29 and Testing Library for unit/integration tests; Playwright for E2E; familiarity with mock strategies and test isolation
- Familiarity with Nx monorepos, modular libraries, and performance optimization within large codebases
- Expertise in SCSS for styling (variables, mixins, responsive layouts), with a focus on maintainable, mobile-first design

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
