IT Systems Engineer

The IT Specialist II responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participate in developing solutions for infrastructure systems, conduct Proof of Concept Testing
• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support on Windows, VMware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and storage subsystems
• Administer the Automation Platform and Enterprise Storage Systems
• Install, configure, patch, and monitor storage systems

Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

• Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure, hardware, and software in a datacenter environment
• Working knowledge in Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Virtualization, Storage Systems, Backup/Restore, and Disaster Recovery
• Experience managing Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Storage Arrays, and Active Directory / LDAP, DNS, DHCP
• Knowledge and experience with Ansible Automation Platform, scripting, patch management, and cloud computing
• Experience with IT Procurement, adherence to organizational policies and procedures, leadership skills, verbal and written communication
