Job description
Join CACI and make a difference in national defense by supporting US Special Operations Command. We're seeking an expert SQL Database Administrator with advanced skills in managing and developing databases. The opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in managing and developing databases and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success.
This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC. Selected candidate for hire** MUST **be able to work onsite.
Responsibilities:

Manage database objects, constraints, replication, and storage structures.

Expertise in SQL tuning and XML technologies.

Strong understanding of database schema, data modeling, and architecture.

Provide advice to the software development team and support application teams.

Analyze, design, build, test, and implement database solutions.
Requirements
Required:
-
Active TS/SCI clearance.
-
8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve efficiency of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture.

Proficiency in administering and deploying server equipment.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.
Desired:

Bachelor's degree and three additional years of general experience in the fields of database administration, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server certifications desired.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200-$158,100
