Software Test Analyst :: Dimondale, MI (Hybrid)

Seeking for a Software Test Analyst supporting the Treasury Department. You will play a key role in ensuring quality financial, tax, and administrative services by managing test activities, communicating with business representatives, and producing reports for quality assurance testing assignments. Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate with BA and development teams during requirements, development, and testing processes.
• Create scenarios to validate acceptance criteria of customer requirements.
• Conduct system test activities for new and updated systems.
• Perform functional and integration testing, ensuring appropriate test coverage.
• Conduct Quality Assurance checks to ensure 'fit-for-purpose' code is delivered.
• Participate in meetings and workshops for test-dependent activities.
• Prepare structured test scenarios and scripts, ensuring stakeholder approval.
• Create test scripts, monitor execution, and record results.
• Coordinate re-testing of defects and issues.
• Maintain test documentation, including scripts and progress charts.
• Assist with test planning, testing activity, and results analysis.
• Manage time, reporting, risk, issues, quality assurance, and change management.
• Support test team members and related IT and Business resources.

• 5 years of experience in QA requirements analysis and test planning
• 5 years of QA execution and defect tracking experience
• 5 years of experience using QA tracking tools (Rational, Client ALM, or similar)
• 5 years of backend functional testing experience
• Ability to review, adapt, and enhance test plan templates
• Strong communication skills and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of SAP Financials experience
• 1 year of GenTax experience
• 1 year of Oxygen XML Editor experience
