Job description
You start your morning refining a C#/.NET test framework that hundreds of Symbotic developers rely on. Before lunch, you pair with a robotics software engineer to turn acceptance criteria into living BDD scenarios and craft SpecFlow/Reqnroll tests. In the afternoon, you coordinate automation efforts across squads, extend tooling to broaden coverage, and spin up a Windows and Linux target environment to validate a state-of-the-art automated material handling system. Advance an internal C#/.NET test framework (leveraging Entity Framework) that accelerates developer productivity.

Build and expand automated test suites in C#/.NET using SpecFlow / Reqnroll.

Partner with multiple teams to raise automation coverage and craft tools that deepen test capabilities.

Communicate proactively and collaborate closely with creative and technical peers.

Coordinate cross-team automation initiatives and deliver measurable results.

Requirements
- Hands-on software development experience with C#/.NET, Java, or Python.
- Ability to write maintainable code with clear, supporting documentation.
- Solid object-oriented design and programming (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism).
- Confidence working in both Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
- Background in Agile/Scrum teams.
- A passion for quality, problem solving, and tackling new challenges.
Required education
- Bachelor of Science in a related engineering field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
Work logistics
- Up to 10% travel. A valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer sites are required.
- You are responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally; reimbursement occurs on a bi-weekly cycle.
Benefits & conditions
The base range for this position in the posted location is $82,000.00 - $113,300.00; the actual base offer will depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
