This is more than a technical role-it's an opportunity to shape the future of lab technology, elevate team performance, and directly contribute to patient safety and care quality.

What You'll Do

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development

Drive System Excellence

  • Ensure high system performance, reliability, and user satisfaction
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical and operational issues

Partner Across the Organization

  • Collaborate with lab operations, clinicians, and IT leadership
  • Translate clinical and business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Support enterprise-wide strategies that integrate technology and patient care

Enhance & Innovate

  • Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and system enhancements
  • Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, safety, and compliance
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend forward-thinking solutions

Deliver Results

  • Ensure service levels (SLAs), project timelines, and deliverables are met
  • Manage system integrations and support complex environments
  • Contribute to strategic planning, project prioritization, and execution

Requirements

  • Epic Beaker expertise, including implementation experience across AP and CP
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and operations
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, complex healthcare IT environment
  • Experience with system integrations, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Excellent communication skills-able to translate between technical and clinical audiences
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and team development, * Bachelor's degree in IT, business, health sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT or with a healthcare software vendor
  • Relevant Epic certification(s) preferred (Epic Beaker AP/CP strongly desired).

If not currently certified, support will be provided to obtain and maintain Epic certification.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business applications, Behind every lab result is a system that must be fast, accurate, and reliable. In this role, you ensure those systems not only function-but excel-helping clinicians deliver the best possible care.
