Job description
You will lead the implementation of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure (v8.x), replacing native Azure Backup with a centralized, enterprise-grade solution integrated with Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) and VeeamONE., * Deploy and configure Veeam Backup for Azure, VBR, and VeeamONE
- Design and implement backup architecture, immutability, and compliance controls
- Integrate monitoring, reporting, and alerting with ServiceNow
- Support backup solutions for Azure VMs, Azure SQL, SAP HANA, and File Shares
- Establish backup policies, retention strategies, and operational standards
- Perform backup/restore validation and provide documentation & knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and VeeamONE
- Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure (v7.x or v8.x)
- Solid experience with Azure IaaS & PaaS (VMs, SQL, Storage)
- Knowledge of backup architecture, security, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in multi-tenant and Azure Government environments
