Job description
The Load Balancing Engineer will be part of the Data Center Network Services (DCNS) team, supporting enterprise-wide network traffic management and DDI services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
This role focuses on designing and managing F5 & AVI load balancing solutions to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments., * Design, implement, and support F5 & AVI load balancing solutions
- Manage application traffic (L4-L7) across hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
- Troubleshoot complex issues in Application Traffic Management platforms
- Collaborate with network engineering & operations teams for 24x7 availability
- Support DNS infrastructure (Infoblox, BIND) and DDI services
- Work with business teams to deliver secure and scalable connectivity solutions
- Participate in change management and ITSM processes
- Provide on-call / shift support, including evenings & weekends (as needed)
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in Load Balancing / Network Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- F5 Load Balancer (LTM, GTM/GSLB)
- AVI (VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer / Broadcom AVI)
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud)
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) concepts
- Strong troubleshooting skills in network and traffic management
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Understanding of:
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, VRF (nice to have)
- Familiarity with ITSM / Agile methodologies
