Informatica IICS Developer | 6-Month Contract | Cincinnati, OH (Initial Onsite)

Our client, a leading enterprise organization in the Utilities Industry, is in the midst of a major technology transformation, implementing a new Field Service platform and Workday while modernizing how enterprise data flows across the organization. This role sits directly within that transformation, focused on rebuilding and optimizing critical data movement processes that support core business operations.
You will work in a fast-paced data engineering environment where precision, performance, and collaboration are essential to success.
Daily Responsibilities
- Developing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets across multiple enterprise systems
- Designing and maintaining Informatica IICS ETL workflows to support reliable and scalable data warehouse integrations
- Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical data solutions
- Ensuring data integrity through structured validation processes and ongoing data quality checks
- Documenting ETL processes, data flows, and technical solutions to support long term maintainability
- Partnering with cross functional teams to deliver reporting and data integration solutions aligned with business needs
- Rewriting and optimizing existing ETL processes to support new source systems and enterprise platforms
Requirements
- Strong experience developing, executing, and optimizing complex SQL queries across relational database environments
- Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Data Integration module, PowerCenter experience alone is not sufficient
- Experience developing and maintaining SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages using Microsoft Visual Studio
- Strong understanding of SQL Server database concepts including performance tuning, indexing strategies, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Proven ability to support enterprise level data integration and ETL modernization initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Workday integrations or similar enterprise SaaS platforms
- Exposure to enterprise data warehouse modernization or cloud migration initiatives
- Background in Field Service, asset management, or enterprise operations systems
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms or hybrid integration environments
