Network Architect

Our client is a trusted IT infrastructure and managed services provider serving enterprise customers worldwide. Based out of Tulsa, they are looking to hire a Network Architect on a Contract basis., * Design and architect enterprise and campus network solutions aligned with business needs

• Lead network buildouts, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
• Provide hands-on engineering support, including configuration and deployment of Cisco network devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including high-priority (P1/P2) outages
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and connectivity initiatives
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and standards
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on best practices and emerging technologies

• CCNP to CCIE-level expertise in Cisco networking technologies (CCIE preferred)
• Strong experience with enterprise and campus network design and architecture
• Deep knowledge of:
• Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• VLANs, STP, QoS
• Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, resilient network infrastructures
• Advanced troubleshooting experience in complex production environments
• Ability to handle P1/P2 incidents and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Experience with network documentation, diagrams, and standards

Desired Skills & Experience

• CCIE certification (or actively pursuing)
• Experience with data center networking and/or SD-WAN
• Exposure to network automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization
• Previous experience in a lead or architect-level role
