Engineering Project Manager - 787 Integration (Agile/Jira)

seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Project Manager to support the 787 Airplane Level Integration (ALIT) team in North Charleston, SC. This role focuses on leading cross-functional engineering efforts, ensuring alignment across development, production, certification, and fleet support activities., * Develop and manage integrated project plans to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives

• Analyze schedules, identify risks, and implement recovery plans
• Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, production, and support teams
• Manage change control processes and ensure adherence to engineering standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and communicate project status effectively
• Facilitate Agile practices including backlog management, sprint planning, and release tracking using Jira
• Mentor and coach engineering and technical teams to promote continuous improvement
• Drive process improvements and ensure successful project closeout with proper documentation

• Proficiency in Jira (backlog management, sprint planning, reporting)

• Expertise in schedule management, risk assessment, and change management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support technical teams, * Experience in aerospace or commercial aircraft programs (preferably 787)
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, MS Project, or Primavera
• Experience with enterprise engineering processes and system integration

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination)
• Must meet U.S. export compliance requirements
• Previous Aerospace experience preferred
