We are working with a growing IT services provider supporting a multi?site medical practice in the Greater Boston area and are looking for a dependable IT Field Technician to join their team.
This is a hands?on, client?facing role that suits someone with Tier 1-1.5 support experience who is comfortable working independently across multiple locations.
Responsibilities include handling Tier 1 and Tier 1.5 support requests via phone, email, and in person; setting up and supporting PCs, workstations, and peripherals; performing basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, connectivity, and printers; assisting with server and network troubleshooting both remotely and on site; deploying applications; following change control and documentation procedures; traveling between client sites as required; and participating in scheduled off?hours support and on?call rotation.
Candidates should have prior experience in IT support, technical support, or a customer?facing technology role, along with strong troubleshooting and critical?thinking skills. A professional, presentable demeanor is essential due to the medical practice environment. The role requires someone who is detail?oriented, reliable, able to work independently, and a clear communicator both verbally and in writing. Candidates must be local to the Boston area and comfortable traveling between sites.
Experience working in an MSP environment is preferred but not required. Exposure to healthcare or other regulated environments is also a plus.
