Senior Software Engineer (Oracle, PL/SQL, A.I.) NO H1B OR C2C

We're partnering with a leading media & entertainment technology team that builds innovative solutions supporting episodic television production across multiple studios and platforms.

This team is focused on solving real business problems that improve data visibility, stream lines operations, and enables smarter decision making at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and build backend solutions using Oracle PL/SQL
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, packages, and database logic
• Build and maintain reports (Jasper Reports or similar)
• Work on data interfaces, integrations, and data conversions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Perform performance tuning and code optimization
• Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams
• Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (backend-heavy role)
• Strong experience with Jasper Reports or similar reporting tools
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
• Experience working with large-scale data models (bonus if media/entertainment-related)
• Strong communication skills-able to work across technical and business teams
• Comfortable using AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to boost productivity
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
