Job description
- As a Test Automation Platform Developer, you design and develop the DTA (Daikin Test Automation) Platform for automatic testing in order to improve and come up with creative ways to test our software;
- You are responsible for the user-friendly character of the platform. You will take care that DTA complies with the needs of the user;
- You ensure that the DTA platform evolves along with the new Daikin products;
- You optimize the platform and are involved in the refactoring of the DTA;
- You follow the trends regarding new technologies and make suggestions to upgrade the platform;
- You evaluate the quality of the DTA platform and make improvement proposals as needed;
- You assist in troubleshooting that occur during testing
Requirements
- Master's degree in a software development or related area
- 5 year experience in development
- Strong Python/ Java or Groovy proficiency
- At least additional experience in two of the following domains:
o Multiple platforms (IOS, Android, Windows, Mac)
o Embedded Software
o Test automation (RobotFramework, Jenkins, other CI/CD tools,…)
o Electronics
o IoT (mqtt, https,…)
- Like to take initiative, work in close collaboration with fellow developers and share your ideas and knowledge
- Knowledge of Agile & SCRUM is a plus
- Possess analytical skills and eye for detail and quality
- Think abstract and practical, effectiveness is the end-goal
- Communicative and assertive when required
- Fully conversational in English

About the company
