The ideal candidate will offer 1st line support duties to a wide range of clients around the Surrey region. Most of your week will be spent in the office with some work from home options each week (after the initial training period). You will have the opportunity to visit clients on some occasions. You will be directly involved in all areas of IT support and be a true asset to the company by delivering high levels of support/service to a mix range of internal and external clients.
Requirements
- Outstanding telephone customer support experience
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Keen attitude to learn
- One or more years of experience in an IT Support role
- A passion for IT and Technology
- A full UK driving license
Requirements
- Handling and logging client IT queries via telephone and email remotely.
- Update clients on the progress of their query when first-contact resolution is not possible
- Assist with client projects such as data and email migration
- Resolve software issues
- Desktop and laptop fixes
- Troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11, Mac OS
- Managing active directory and group policy
- Travelling to client sites when required
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of security systems (e.g. anti-virus, firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
Technical skills required:
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365
- Experience with Windows Server and Windows client operating systems
- Networking, including configuring Routers, managed switches, TCPIP protocols
- Familiarity with hardware of Servers, desktops, and laptops
