Job description

Independently own and develop code, micro services as per customer requirement and address and resolve applications issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis. Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems. Coordinate with QA teams and administer code migrations in various environments and production outputs. Flexibility - responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work Ability to excel in a short timeframe under short sprints

Requirements

o z/OS COBOL II, JCL, TSO, Easytrieve, ISPF o DB2 (> V10), SQL, CICS, VSAM

  • IMS DB/DC, Pacbase, REXX, CLIST

  • Working experience with IDE like Topaz, RDz

  • Working experience with Soap UI, Toad

  • Knowledge of J2EE, Webservices, Cloud based technologies/systems and their interactions with Mainframe based technologies

Knowledge in Retail Banking, Core Banking systems o Job Scheduling tools like Zeke (preferred), Control-M, CA-7 o Configuration management tools (ChangeMan preferred) o IBM Utilities (like IDCAMS, SORT, etc.) o Archival and reporting tools (CA-View and SAR preferred) o File transfer protocols like sFTP and tools like FileMover

  • Agile methodology and SDLC

  • Jira, Confluence and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint mandatory).

  • Ability design, code, and unit test software on a predefined schedule using technologies, techniques, and tools to ensure high quality, performance, and reliability, at varying levels of complexity

  • Following department coding standards, write well documented programs that perform effectively and efficiently

  • Performs system analysis and design in accordance with established procedures and policies

  • Provides accurate estimate of time needed to complete work

  • Should be able to proactively explore the system and learn

  • Excellent team player and be able to efficiently deliver results with minimum supervision

  • Excellent oral, written and listening communications skills (in both office-based and remote workplace environments).

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range- $90,000-$110,000 a year
