Our work depends on a Systems Administrator joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army in the Pacific! MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

  • Assist in the administration, maintenance, and security of IT systems within restricted military enclave networks, while complying with stringent cybersecurity standards
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of security controls in alignment with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Assist in system hardening, patch management and vulnerability remediation to proactively protect IT systems against emerging cyber threats
  • Assist with managing Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies, ensuring access is restricted to authorized personnel
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain high availability of critical IT infrastructure
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and incident reports

Requirements

Skills: LAN WAN, Local Area Network (LAN), Oral Communications, Wide Area Network (WAN) Certifications: None Experience: 3 + years of related experience, * Education: AS/AA in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience

  • Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience; military and/or MTC experience preferred

  • Required Technical Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in System Administration and Support

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the associated hardware, software and equipment

  • Certification: CompTIA SEC+ is required

  • Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance with 6 months from hire

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT II certification (SEC+)

  • Candidate must have or be able to obtain a certificate or certification meeting evolving computing environments

  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Must perform effectively with minimal guidance

  • Location: On Customer Site

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
