Job description
The Desktop Support Analyst provides technical assistance to end users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. This role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations and delivers excellent customer service., * Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.) and applications
- Respond to help desk calls and in-person requests in a timely manner
- Set up and deploy new equipment
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Office 365, M1 ERP, etc)
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches
- Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades and migrations
- Manage relationship and activities of outsourced IT company
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in desktop or technical support
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
