TEKsystems is seeking a dynamic and dedicated IT Desktop Technician to support one of our partner companies. In this role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and troubleshooting end-user devices, ensuring seamless operation across our organization's IT infrastructure. - Hardware/software installs
- Data entry - which includes updating in a timely manner and adhering to processes for documenting work performed (such as requests and incidents).
- Hardware moves
- Problem research
- Documentation of various Desktop Support Services processes
- Service Desk support
- Special projects
- Inventory
- E-waste
Requirements
- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows 11, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe products, and other standard enterprise desktop software.
- Working knowledge of iOS and mobile device support, including configuration, connectivity, application support, and end user troubleshooting.
- Hands on experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware, including peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and related equipment.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting networked and locally connected printers in an enterprise environment.
- Proficient in supporting commonly used business applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe, with the ability to troubleshoot and assist end users.
- Working knowledge of audio visual electronics used in conference rooms, including setup, connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting conference room technologies such as widescreen TVs, projectors, and video conferencing systems (e.g., Polycom), including setup and issue resolution.
- Technicians must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in written communication.
- Technicians must also be able to work under tables, on ladders, move up and down stairs, and lift up to 60 pounds
- Basic knowledge of safety issues associated with electrical equipment is required
