Application Owner / Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Owner / Senior Software Engineer to join our team in North Andover, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning and driving the development, deployment, and support of our core applications. You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable solutions while ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our systems. This role requires hands-on expertise with AWS, React, Node.js, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, along with strong problem-solving abilities and leadership in application ownership. Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of assigned applications, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Build and enhance web applications using React and Node.js.
• Design and maintain relational databases (MySQL & PostgreSQL).
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Ensure application reliability, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Business) to deliver high-quality results.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-7 years of professional software engineering experience (open to strong mid-level or senior profiles).
• Proficiency in:

• Frontend: React.js
• Backend: Node.js
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Cloud: AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)

• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take end-to-end ownership of applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
