ETL Test Automation Engineer

Job Description: · Lead the end to end testing activities across multiple teams in large projects with tight timelines · Experience in test case management tools like qtest, HP ALM, Octane etc. · Experience working on different testing artifacts such as test strategy, test plans, test cases, test evidence, test approvals etc · Working knowledge of JIRA and other agile frameworks · Experience working with different databases and writing complex queries · Strong experience in working with upstream and downstream integrations · Defect tracking and management in JIRA · Strong organization and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams · Generate various metrics and reports to communicate progress, status, risks and dependencies · Define and track success metrics for the QA deliverables · Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math) Required skills: · Experience in Software Testing · Expertise with one or more Hadoop technology(Hive, Impala, Spark, SQL) · Able to write Unix commands and execute them · Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, ETL technologies · Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries using Joins · Ability to document and troubleshoot errors · Working knowledge of test management software (Ex: qTest, JIRA) · Familiar with the life cycle of projects (SIT, UAT) · Hands on agile experience · Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging · Excellent verbal and written skills, to include advanced interpersonal and proven presentation skills · Ability to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis · Ability to be self-directed to complete assigned activities Job Responsibilities · Experience in Software Testing · Expertise with one or more Hadoop technology(Hive, Impala, Spark, SQL) · Able to write Unix commands and execute them · Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, ETL technologies · Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries using Joins · Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
