Application Engineer

Our Application Engineer must strike a balance between mechanical know-how and fine-tuned, customer facing savvy. They must be able to implement principles of brand ambassadorship, including calling on customers, product installation and all post-sale support. FEA fixture design experience is a plus and clear, concise command of the English language is absolutely necessary for this customer facing role., * Provide pre- and post-sale technical support, including participation in new product installations and ongoing support for existing installations

• Design Vibration Test Fixtures, design and analyze mechanical and electrical hardware for harsh environments, including dynamic and thermal conditions.
• Prepare test plans, and run tests on thermal chamber, hydraulics shakers and electrodynamic shakers.
• Assist with the design and integration of servo control systems
• Prepare technical proposals, reports, system drawings and installation documentation in alignment with project milestones and delivery schedules
• Attend product (hardware/software) demonstrations to provide potential customers with details about the features and capabilities Sentek products
• Make technical presentations to potential customers, via both web presentations and on-site presentations, as required
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and identify appropriate solutions within the Sentek Dynamics product portfolio
• Author technical proposals, reports, and documentation related to the product line offered by Sentek Dynamics.
• Serve as an internal product expert and resource across teams.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Travel up to 25 %.

• BS, MS in physics, mechanical engineering or equivalent fields
• Hands-on mechanical skills are a must!
• Must be friendly, social, presentable and professional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Mazarin Chinese is a plus but not necessary
• AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS (or equivalent) savvy
• Vibration testing experience a plus but not necessary
• Able to commit full time and to start ASAP
