- Design, configure, and implement enterprise network infrastructure and solutions
- Develop and maintain network standards, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Define technical requirements and collaborate with vendors to deliver compliant solutions
- Partner with internal IT teams to align network strategies and technical direction
- Build and maintain accurate configurations and network diagrams
- Develop engineering job packages (equipment lists, configurations, diagrams, etc.)
- Ensure cost-effective, reliable, and scalable network designs
- Support procurement, turn-up, and troubleshooting of WAN circuits (public and private)
- Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and firewall environments
- Analyze and optimize QoS policies for applications and VoIP
- Participate in Agile team delivery, supporting project-based initiatives
Requirements
We are seeking a Senior Cisco Network Engineer to design, implement, and support complex enterprise network and carrier solutions. This role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, security, and datacenter networking, along with a strong understanding of Cisco technologies (including ACI).
This is a highly technical, hands-on role suited for a self-driven engineer who thrives in an Agile environment, collaborates across teams, and can operate with minimal supervision while delivering scalable, high-performance network solutions., * Bachelor's degree + 5+ years of IT experience (including 4+ years with Cisco networking) OR 10+ years of IT experience (including 5+ years with Cisco networking)
- Strong experience with:
- Network design, capacity planning, and security principles
- Routing, switching, and general network management best practices
- Solid understanding of communication technologies and networking fundamentals
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of change management processes

- Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP
- Agile Certifications: Scrum Master, Kanban

- Cisco Technologies: routers, switches, Nexus, ASR, wireless (WLC/APs), ACI, DNA, ASA, ISE
- Firewalls: Palo Alto (Panorama)
- Datacenter: ACI, OTV
- Networking Protocols & Concepts
- TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6), BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- VLANs (802.1Q), STP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP
- MPLS, DMVPN, IPsec, IKEv2
- QoS, Multicast, SNMP, ACLs
- RADIUS/TACACS+, SIP/VoIP
- Additional Experience (Nice to Have)
- SCADA network design
- Network automation (Python, Ansible, REST APIs, JSON/XML, EEM scripting)
- Monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery design
- Experience leading network projects and cross-functional initiatives, * Strong ACI experience (highly preferred)
- Hands-on troubleshooting and design expertise
- Ability to lead technical conversations and influence outcomes
