Cloud Architect

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments. This role will partner closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to build cloud strategies, modernize systems, and support long-term operational success. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise who can translate business needs into effective cloud solutions. The ideal candidate brings experience across cloud infrastructure, application architecture, security, and automation, along with the ability to guide teams and influence technical direction., * Design and implement cloud-based solutions across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architecture aligned with business goals
• Lead cloud migration efforts, ensuring minimal disruption and strong data integrity
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Establish cloud architecture standards, policies, and best practices
• Evaluate new technologies and conduct proof-of-concept initiatives
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments
• Implement and maintain security frameworks including identity management and data protection
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful solution delivery
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and DevOps teams
• Document architecture designs, configurations, and processes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Several years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, load balancing)
• Strong understanding of cloud security practices (IAM, encryption, compliance frameworks)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• Background in large-scale cloud migrations or enterprise environments
• Familiarity with automation tools and configuration management platforms
