Senior Network Engineer - Direct Hire- Onsite

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in wireless networking and Optical LAN who is ready to take the next step into a customer-facing, pre-sales engineering role.

This position is ideal for a highly technical professional who enjoys solving complex networking challenges and wants to leverage that expertise to advise clients, design solutions, and support the sales process.

You'll act as the technical bridge between engineering and customers, helping organizations modernize their network infrastructure with cutting-edge solutions.

What You'll Do

• Partner with sales teams to design and present network solutions tailored to customer needs
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert in Wireless Networks and Optical LAN (POL)
• Lead customer discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and technical presentations
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures
• Conduct network assessments, solution design, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
• Support RFPs, proposals, and technical documentation
• Stay current on emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to clients
• Collaborate internally with engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery, * Approximately 20% travel required for client meetings, presentations, and solution delivery support

• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering
• Strong expertise in:
• Wireless networking (enterprise Wi-Fi, RF design, controllers, etc.)
• Optical LAN / Passive Optical Networks (POL)
• Deep understanding of:
• Routing & switching (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.)
• Network architecture & design
• Network security fundamentals
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale network solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing role
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CWNP, or equivalent
• Experience with network automation or cloud networking
• Familiarity with SD-WAN or modern network architectures, * Someone who wants to transition from:"pure engineering" * "consultative / solutions-focused role"
