Data Center Technician

We are looking for a skilled technician to provide physical infrastructure and remote hands support in enterprise data centre environments, working closely with engineering and NOC teams., Install and decommission network and server equipment (routers, switches, servers)

Perform rack & stack activities based on rack diagrams

Carry out structured cabling (fiber & copper), patching, and cross-connect work

Manage patch panels, cable routing, and proper labelling

Support hardware troubleshooting and replacement activities

Assist with power connections (A/B feeds) and connectivity checks

Provide remote hands support to engineering/NOC teams during incidents

Maintain accurate ticket updates in ServiceNow/Jira

Strong hands-on experience in a Data Centre environment

Experience in rack & stack and structured cabling (fiber/copper)

Knowledge of patch panels, SFP/QSFP handling, and cabling standards

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, connectivity)

Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured environment

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Requirements

Valid work permit for Switzerland (mandatory)

German B2 level required

Experience in a similar Data Centre / Infrastructure role

Ability to work on-site in a 24/7 operational environment
